In this video, I will show you how to connect your domain from any other company to HostGator.

If you bought your domain from another website that is not HostGator your WordPress website might not automatically show up as you expected! This is because since your domain is coming from another website you need to do one extra step.

You need to connect your domain’s name servers (DNS) to your HostGator hosting. In this video, I will show you how to connect your domain’s name servers to HostGator hosting so that your website can show up properly.

  1. This helped. I was able to change nameservers but I think godaddy is still not releasing my domain name somehow. It will not open to my website. It continues to go to godaddy page. I'm tired. I'll try again tomorrow, but THANKS.

  2. have a similar problem but my domain is from hostgator. Since

i got the hosting and domain name, the website has never opened, it

keeps showing "This site can’t be reached" first i waited a few hours,

then waited 24 hours and the domain name still wouldn't open. even

after a few days and later a week, still got nothing. even when i try

to log in to the admin using "/wp-admin", "it displays This site can’t

be reached" at this point I'm frustrated. what can i do
